Pregnant passengers
The comfort and safety of pregnant passengers are always given top priority at Bamboo Airways. To help us better prepare for your trip, please inform Bamboo Airways staff of your health status during booking.
To ensure maximum comfort and safety, pregnant passengers need to inform Bamboo Airways of their gestational age during booking, and during check-in to receive necessary consulting and assistance. Pregnant passengers with pre-consiting conditions are also advised to seek medical consultation from doctors before travelling by air. Please find our detailed guidelines regarding pregnant passengers in the below table:

Passengers can travel in similar manner as normal passengers do. However, guests need to present proof of the week of pregnancy (such as Pregnancy verification letter / Periodic antenatal check-up book / Ultrasound result / Health book or a photo of one of the above documents, in which: determine the gestational age of the fetus. |

Passengers are kindly requested to present the Pregnancy verification letter / Periodic antenatal check-up book / Ultrasound result / Health book/ doctor’s certificate containing all the following information:
The profile must be issued within 15 days before the actual departure date of the first flight sector. This profile is still accepted for the next flight sector if the passenger does not develop any health problems during the journey and still meets the pregnancy period of less than 32 weeks up to the actual departure date of the next flight sector. |

Passengers must present form MEDIF II (signed by an approved doctor), or passengers are kindly requested to present the Pregnancy verification letter / Periodic antenatal check-up book / Ultrasound result / Health book/ doctor’s certificate containing all the following information:
The profile must be issued within 07 days before the actual departure date of the first flight sector. This profile is still accepted for the next flight sector if the passenger does not develop any health problems during the journey and and still meets the gestational age limit according to the prescribed gestational age limit as of the actual departure date of the next flight. |

Passengers on international flights are required to carry an additional set of documents equivalent in English certified by a notary public. Some countries have specific entry requirements for pregnant women. Pregnant passengers should check the immigration regulations of the destination country before starting their journey. Medical certificates/Information MEDIF II must be confirmed by the following healthcare facilities:
