Last night, on July 27, due to heavy thunderstorms and lightning in Hanoi, horizontal visibility significantly decreased. For this reason, flight QH1416 (Cam Ranh - Hanoi) was forced to divert and land at Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong). About an hour later, when the weather improved, the flight continued its journey to Hanoi.
