Notice of adjustment to exploitation plan due to the impact of storm No. 6

To ensure flight safety, Bamboo Airways plans to adjust the operational schedule of flights in areas affected by Typhoon Tra Mi.

According to the meteorological forecast at 10:00 a.m. on October 26, 2024, Typhoon No. 6 (Tra Mi) is likely to directly impact and threaten the safety of operations at several airports in Central Vietnam.

In light of the complex and unpredictable developments of Typhoon Tra Mi, on October 26, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam announced the temporary suspension of aircraft operations at four airports in the affected area. Specifically, Da Nang International Airport will temporarily halt operations from 6:00 a.m. on October 27 to 4:00 a.m. on October 28; Phu Bai International Airport (Hue) will suspend operations from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 27; Dong Hoi Airport (Quang Binh) will halt operations from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 27; and Chu Lai Airport (Quang Nam) will suspend operations from 10:00 a.m. on October 27 to 10:00 a.m. on October 28.

To ensure safe operations, Bamboo Airways plans to adjust the schedule of flights taking off and landing in the areas affected by Typhoon Tra Mi. Specifically, on October 27, the airline will cancel the following flights:

  • QH101: Hanoi - Da Nang
  • QH102: Da Nang - Hanoi
  • QH123: Hanoi - Da Nang
  • QH124: Da Nang - Hanoi
  • QH151: Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City
  • QH154: Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang
  • QH165: Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City
  • QH170: Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang
  • QH186: Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang
  • QH191: Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City

Bamboo Airways will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates in future announcements. During this time, the airline advises passengers planning to travel to/from the affected airports to regularly check and update weather conditions and flight status on the airline’s website or official Facebook page to manage their schedules proactively.
